Our Products
At ECOS del Lozoya we have a wide assortment of varieties of seasonal berries that ensure a constant harvest from the end of spring until well into autumn.

Raspberries
Dark red in color, conical fruit and exquisite aroma, they have a deliciously sweet flavor and a slightly acidic touch. They are also very rich in vitamins, minerals and have great antioxidant powers.
At ECOS del Lozoya we grow five different varieties of red and yellow raspberries. They produce fruits early, mid-season and late, which means that we can produce fruit from the end of June through to the end of October.

Blueberries
These bluish-colored fruits have a sweet and delicate flavor with a robust skin. These fruits are one of the richest in antioxidants and with numerous medicinal properties.
We have four blueberry varieties that begin their season in June and last until September.

Red currants and White currants
We grow seven different varieties of red, black and white currants.
These are the most acidic of the forest fruits and boast delicate hanging clusters of intensely colored berries. They can be eaten in desserts and salads, giving an acidic touch to dishes. The combination of white and black currants is particularly beautiful to look at. Like all berries, they are very rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and have medicinal properties.

Black currents
These spherical fruits are black with an attractive shine to them. They are highly aromatic, with a hardy skin and a very special flavor. To us, the black currant is like a good wine. The first impression upon breaking the skin is acidic with a touch of passion fruit, later appearing tones of arugula and blue cheese. It is perfect for sprout salads, alongside nuts and Modena vinegar. The entire plant has medicinal properties.

Gooseberries
These berries are perhaps the most unknown of the forest fruits and are worth knowing about. Their flavour is delicious, with a crisp skin and sweet pulp. In appearance it looks like a grape, with red and white variations. They have the very similar nutritional properties as currants.
We grow two different varieties of gooseberries which produce from early summer to early autumn.

Blackberries
As we all know, blackberries are the greatest delicacy of the forest and their properties are becoming increasingly appreciated. Blackberries are one of the fruits with the highest antioxidant content, being rich in vitamin C, E and flavonoids. Among its properties are the power to reduce cholesterol, combating arteriosclerosis and various heart ailments, they are anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and contain antibiotic substances that combat the harmful effects of certain bacteria in the mouth, helping to maintain healthy teeth and gums. On our farm we grow two varieties of thornless blackberries that bear fruit during July and August.

Strawberries
Bright red in color and heart-shaped, our strawberries have a sweet flavor and fleshy feel. Strawberries are known as the queens of fruits and can be eaten raw, in cakes, compotes or in jam. They have multiple benefits for our body, being rich in antioxidants and fiber, containing vitamin C, B2, B3 and folic acid, and are naturally low in sugar.

We grow and sell 100% organic vegetables from our garden. We have multiple varieties, all delicious and nutritious, including green and white zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes (pear, salad and cherry), eggplants/aubergine, Italian peppers, green beans (both flat and round), and aromatic basil which we sell by the bunch.
