The initial phase of growing berries involves preparing the soil beds, planting out the young plants, and providing them with adequate sunlight.
Growth
During the growth phase, regular irrigation and stable soil moisture are vital for promoting fruit development.
Harvest
During the harvest phase, the fruits must be picked at their point of maturity, handling them carefully to avoid damage and to guarantee their freshness.
How we maintain soil fertility
Our way of production follows a philosophy of based on a regenerative approach to the soil health. We feed the soil so that it can, in turn, feed the plants. To do this, we only use natural manure and organic and mineral fertilizers permitted in organic farming. We also conserve the natural soil cover, using green fertilizers and mowing the grass frequently to keep the soil protected from erosion. As the grass decomposes, the remains of this organic matter is incorporated back into the soil, leaving it enriched.
We feel that the vegetable garden and the cultivation of red fruits is part of our culture. We work to remember what our ancestors cultivated, something that brings us closer to our roots and our territory.
